About Nora Day

Since the age of eight, when she was given a book on yoga by her mother, Nora found her calling, though she didn’t know it at the time. Since then she has evolved her passion for yoga into a yogi’s life of practice and teaching around the world: Spain, France, Monaco, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Thailand, Bali, Japan, Hawaii, California, Miami, Mexico, Brazil, and the Caribbean.

Nora has extensively studied the traditional teachings of Dharma Mittra, Shiva Rea and David Williams and incorporated Vinyasa Flow, Yin and Ashtanga styles into her own unique yoga practice. Professionally, Nora is 500 E-RYT, Yoga Alliance Certified. In addition to devoting multiple hours a day to her personal practice, Nora is an example on how to honor the temple of the body. A 30-year vegan and raw foodist, Nora combines yoga, diet and a peaceful lifestyle as her formula for health, fitness and happiness.

A Year of Meditation

On June 30, 2020, Nora published her first book titled “A Year of Meditation – Daily Moments of Peace, Joy and Calm”. A Year of Meditation is a book of 365 short, daily meditations to help you feel calmer, more centered, and in control.

Suggested Length: 1-3 hours
bendy stretchy flow
This fun, pure bendy class is a constant vinyasa flow. This super stretchy class will challenge all corners of your body from hamstrings to back bends to shoulder openers. This whole body class will elongate muscles and tone the body for an overall feeling of openness and celebration.
deep stretch (yin & movement)
Deep stretch is the difference between a big yogi and a little yogi. The deeper you can go with Yin, the stronger you become in all styles of yoga. This class is a combination of yin, held stretches, and movement stretches that lengthen and elongate from top to bottom and side to side.
primal power flow
This powerful, focused, energizing flow builds strength, confidence and endurance. We will keep constant flow, with the intention of exploring primal and rooted movement. Through strength and flexibility, prepare to be challenged outside of your box, from the inside out.
burn baby burn
Burning out toxins through sweat and repetition, is a sure way to burn through any doubts, fears or obstacles. Connecting poses with added burn time, is a great way to cleanse the body and the mind. “Through Repetition the Magic is Forced to Arise.”
back bending for everyone
An interactive workshop on feel good, nurturing back bends. All level of practitioners, can bend through gentle to more advanced back bends, until we all feel the back bend love.
improvisational yoga
This fun, freedom yoga practice starts with basic structure, and emerges into improvisational yoga. While honing in on the basics, we move and expand to the improvisational.
inversion excursion
Trusting the you can go upside down with grace, poise, and confidence is a game changer. This loving, step by step workshop will give you the know how and the skill set to take home with you to be an advanced inversion practitioner.
teacher's workshop
Teaching yoga is a skill that can be mastered through some tricks of the trade. If you can teach yoga to the whole room; the beginner, the advanced, the injured, and the “know it all”, you are a great teacher.
